The 295 balancing Instrument employs IRD’s unique digital averaging tracking filter technology and uses Windows 7 interfaces with colour touch screen.
The unit is very easy to use and has an on-screen keyboard and prompts to guide users through the balancing process.
It provides high measurement accuracy and is capable of precision balancing at low speeds down to 30 rpm on soft-bearing machines.
Balancing tolerances can be user-defined or pre-defined from ISO or API standards, taking keyway compensation into account.
The integrated software also enables vector splitting, for easier distribution of balancing loads.
The 295 unit can balance using the trial weight method or it can operate in one run mode for balancing machines fitted with auto-calibrators (soft bearings).
It is the ideal choice for replacing instrumentation equipment, such as the old 290, 245, 236 or 246 models, as well as for installation on new machines; it can also be used to improve performance and upgrade other balancing machines.
